- Data analysis
We diagnose the problem, cost the options, deliver the one you choose, and measure what it returned. Each of those is a phase, priced on its own.
Where the work has been
The model
Most consulting asks you to buy the whole programme before anyone has proved they understand the problem. We break the work at the four points where you would naturally want to stop and think.
We listen, then we prove we heard you. The phase ends with the problem written down in a form you recognise and would defend in front of your board.
Options, not an option. Costed at three budget levels and sequenced short, mid and long term, so the choice you make is a real choice.
The design leaves the page. You pick the level of help, from a handover guide you run yourself through to us running the programme.
Did it do what it was designed to do? We measure the return, capture the learning, and say plainly what we would do differently.
Services
Everything below comes from operating roles rather than from a framework deck. Between us we have run finance functions, launched lending products, opened new markets and shipped the interfaces customers actually touch.
Where the business is going, what has to be true for it to get there, and what to stop doing. Internal and external analysis, PESTEL, competitive position, and a strategy someone can actually be held to.
Planning, forecasting, measurement and reporting. Scenario models that show what each option does to cash, and a closing cycle that does not take three weeks.
Systems, process and supplier management. We map what actually happens, not what the procedure says happens, then take the waste out of it.
Agile or traditional, whichever the work demands. Governance, reporting cadence and the discipline that stops good recommendations dying in a drawer.
Commercial contract review processes, risk registers that get used, and due diligence support when someone is buying, selling or raising.
Go to market planning, revenue growth, partnerships, and the design work that carries it: brand identity, web presence and product interfaces.
The commitment
Then we say so, you pay for one phase, and you have saved yourself the other three. That is the point of splitting the work.
Each phase is scoped and priced on its own. You see the hours, the rate for each person on the job, and the fixed margin on top before anything starts. Nothing rolls over automatically and nothing is billed against a phase you did not approve.
It is a slower way to sell consulting. It is a much easier way to buy it.
Proceed to the next phase only if you are satisfied with the last one.The FourPhase principle
The team
Four people, named, with the hours on your job attributed to them individually. No pyramid, no bench, no one you have never met writing the report.
Track record
We have used the phased approach across health, automotive, financial services, mining, sport, infrastructure and consumables, with engagements running from a single consultation through to full delivery of the recommendations.
Next step
Tell us the problem in your own words. The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and you will leave it with at least one thing you can act on.
